Are you a Suzuki enthusiast? I am Selling my father's cherished GS850GN shaft drive, with both electric and kick start. He has owned it for the last 10 years. Enthusiast used and maintained, former mechanic. Reason, sadly bereaved. I would like to see it go to a good home, someone who will really appreciate and enjoy it. These bikes, Very popular in their time, where produced for all day comfortable touring. The handling, gearbox and the clutch were considered as the best of the three touring bikes tested at that time (the other bikes were the BMW R 100 RT and the Kawasaki ZI 1000 ST). The suspension and the seat of the GS850 were also praised. The engines were bullet proof having been developed from the GSX750e & GS1000 four cylinder derivatives already around for a decade. It was Suzuki’s first bike ever with tubeless tyres and came with a 22 litre tank for improved range. This bike is in good condition, in blue with 58'242 miles on the clock, with small screen on front, Michelin Mc Adam tyres, no fluid leaks, new seat cover included as are two workshop manuals. Would need to be taxed and M.O.T' ed. First genuine person will buy.
